Barbican Quartet wins 3rd prize at Bordeaux Intl Competition

Only 3 months after Kate joined the Barbican Quartet, they were invited to compete at the Bordeaux International Quartet Competition, taking home 3rd prize!

The jury consisted of Amaury Coeytaux (Quatuor Modigliani), Gabriel la Magadure (Quatuor Ébène), Veronika Hagen (Hagen Quartet), Ori Kam (Jerusalem Quartet), Momo Kodama (pianist), Antoine Lederlin (Belcea Quartet), Kaija Saariaho (composer).
